Varangian Trimmer

"Ballz Safe!"

Well I can verify that with the correct attachment, the Varangian Trimmer is definitely, ballz safe! Best trim I've had on both my head and ballz. Just make sure to wash/clean before switching!

Once I figured out which trimmer head to put on it, it worked amazingly! Gives a nice, close trim and really cuts down on the knicks! Plus, the design is cool!

I will say as some other reviewers have, that the trimmer is definitely great for trimming the boys. I've used the Manscape trimmer (version 4.0) and several other trimmers, and this one has worked the best for not nicking things. The biggest complaint I have with this razor is that the length attachment for beard trimming (the Varangian Guard) really didn't work for my beard/head. I currently use a Wahl beard trimmer for my beard and head, and it works pretty well but the blade sometimes snags, so I was looking for something new. I may not be the typical user as I'm very thin up top (almost bald) and I use a beard trimmer to take my beard and hair all down to about 1/8" when I shave, and do that every couple weeks. In my case the length guard had a very hard time cleanly trimming my beard and head (it would leave a lot of hairs untrimmed, even going over the area several times), so I'm back to my Wahl trimmer for now. I'll keep this trimmer around for the stuff down below, but I'm bummed that it won't work for my beard and head as well. Maybe they'll come out with an option to get more traditional length comb style attachments like most other razors and then I can use it on everything...

"The best cut I've ever had"

I've been cutting my own hair for years and thought the clippers I had were good until I got my hands on this beauty. It cuts the lines so neatly and gives the best shave into the sides of my head hair I have ever had. Awesome piece of kit 💪
